Not Too Surprised

So Today was weight-in day. Down 0.6 lbs. I wish it was more but really I'm not all the surprised. I'm just glad I lost something. 


Last week was just in general a mess. I worked 4 shifts with the edge which means I also ate at least 3 meals at a restaurant. Actually no... It was more.

Sunday: I was good, I ate frozen food at work

Monday: Ate dinner at Wendy's. Had the oriental Salad. Probably one of the better choices I could have made. (Gym)

Tuesday: Had Sushi for Dinner with Fiona. Unknown amount of Calories. Felt way too full. Never a good sign.

Wednesday: Burger for dinner at some dinner in old Cabbagetown. With sweet potato fries. Felt like crap afterward. (Gym)
Thursday: Subway Club for Lunch. Swiss Chalet for dinner. 2 meals that someone else made for me. At least i ate from both restaurants "Healthy" menus. (Gym)

Friday: Grilled chicken breast burger at Frans. Cheese and Guacamole on the burger and sweet potato fries on the side. (Gym)

Saturday: Lunch, Fish and chips at some little dinner near the "Beach". Fish was mostly batter. Dinner, French toast from Frans. Later on 2 Coors at the bovine and a Canadian at some place in Kensington.

Sunday: Vodka+Rockstar, Vodka+soda and a Beef Shawarma. 


Yesterday: Back on track, sorta. Ate dinner a bit too late and didn't go to the gym.
Today, realized what happened last week. Ate better. Went to the gym. 

Today I had a "U-Turn" moment.
The term is from Dr. Oz's diet book and means that even if you get off track you can at anytime turn around and get back to the plan. This is helpful for me because I used to have a bad eating day and just say Fuck it. I had messed it up so I might as well just have another cookie/beer/whatever. I will fall, I just have to get back up. 


Tomorrow, is St. Paddy's and yes I will have beer but my goal will be to be aware of what I'm putting into my body. Hopefully the bar we go to will have Molson 67. But if not I will have light beer or Vodka and Soda Tinted green. It looks like I won't get to the gym tomorrow but Thursday I will go (hungover or not) and do it as hard as I can.
Sleep now.
